Beta-Lactam Anti-bacterials, Penicillins

Indication Dosage

Susceptible Infections Of Skin And Skin Structure, Intra-abdominal Infection, Gynaecological Infection: 

By IM Or IV Inj: 

  • Adults: Mild Infections: 1.5-3 Gm/day (sulbactam 0.5 Gm + Ampicillin 1 Gm). Moderate Infections: Up To 6 Gm/day (sulbactam 2 Gm + Ampicillin 4 Gm). Severe Infections: Up To 12 Gm/day (sulbactam 4 Gm + Ampicillin 8 Gm), Administered Every 6 Hr Or Every 8 Hr Or In Less Severe Infections Every 12 Hr In Divided Doses 
  • Children, Infants & Neonates: 150 Mg/kg/day (50 Mg/kg/day Sulbactam + 100 Mg/kg/day Ampicillin), Administered Every 6 Hr Or Every 8 Hr (12 Hr In Neonates During The 1st Week Of Life), In Divided Doses, Normally For 5 To14 Day,
