Drugs For Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy

Indication Dosage

Tamsulosin HCl is a medication primarily prescribed to alleviate the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a common condition characterized by an enlarged prostate gland in men. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, thereby improving urine flow and reducing urinary hesitancy, urgency, and the need to frequently urinate. Tamsulosin HCl provides relief for individuals experiencing bothersome urinary symptoms associated with BPH, enhancing their overall quality of life.
