Drugs For Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy

Indication Dosage

Silodosin is a medication primarily prescribed to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland in adult men. It works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, thereby easing the urinary difficulties associated with BPH, such as hesitant, frequent, or painful urination. Silodosin helps to improve urine flow and reduce the discomfort caused by an enlarged prostate, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for individuals dealing with this condition.
