Indication Dosage

Venlafaxine is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) in adults. It is also used to manage social anxiety disorder (SAD) and panic disorder (PD) in some cases. Venlafaxine is a prescription medication that helps balance certain chemicals in the brain to alleviate symptoms of these conditions.

Major Depression: 

  • Adult: Initially 75 Mg Regular Tab In 2 Divided Doses Or Xr Tab Once Daily, Then Increased If Necessary Up To 375 Mg Daily, Increased At Intervals Of At Least 2 Weeks, Faster Dose Titration May Be Necessary In Some Patients; Maximum 375 Mg Per Day 

Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder: 

  • Adult: 75 Mg Xr Tab Once Daily, Increased If Necessary Up To 225 Mg Once Daily, Increased At Intervals Of At Least 2 Weeks; Maximum 225 Mg Per Day
