Indication Dosage

Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is an essential water-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in many bodily functions. It is involved in the production of red blood cells, DNA synthesis, and proper nervous system function. A deficiency in vitamin B12 can lead to anemia, nerve damage, and other health problems.

Some indications of vitamin B12 deficiency may include:

  1. Fatigue and weakness
  2. Pale skin
  3. Shortness of breath
  4. Tingling or numbness in hands and feet
  5. Difficulty with balance and coordination
  6. Depression and anxiety
  7. Digestive problems
  8. Memory problems
  9. Confusion and disorientation

Injection:

  • Adults: By Im Or Deep Sc, Initially 1000 Mcg Repeated 10times At Intervals Of 2-3 Days, Maintenance 1000 Mcg Every Mth. 

Oral:

  • Adults: 50-150 Mcg Daily Taken Between Meals. 
  • Children: 50-105 Mcg Daily In 1-3 Divided Doses.

  • Inj 500 Mcg /1000 Mcg: Per ml: Vitamin B12 500 Mcg /1000 Mcg.
  • Syp: Per 5 ml: Cyanocobalamin (vit B12) 35 Mcg.
