Anti-migraine Preparations

Indication Dosage

Zolmitriptan is a medication used to relieve severe headaches, like migraines. It helps reduce the pain and other symptoms that come with migraines, such as nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound.

Treatment Of Acute Migraine: 

Adult: 2.5 Mg, Followed By 2.5 Mg After At Least 2 Hours If Required, Dose To Be Taken Only If Migraine Recurs, Then Increased If Necessary To 5 Mg, Dose To Be Taken Only For Subsequent Attacks In Patients Not Achieving Satisfactory Relief With 2.5mg Dose; Maximum 10 Mg Per Day

  • Prinzmetal's Angina, Severe Hypertension, Transient Ischaemic Attack, Ischaemic Heart Disease, Previous, Cerebrovascular Accident, Previous Myocardial Infarction, Uncontrolled Hypertension, Arrhythmias Associated With Accessory Cardiac Conduction Pathways, Coronary Vasospasm, Wolff-parkinson-white Syndrome
