Indication Dosage

Sumatriptan and Naproxen is a medication used to treat moderate to severe migraine headaches. It helps relieve the pain and other symptoms associated with migraines, like nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. This combination medicine works by narrowing blood vessels in the brain and reducing inflammation to provide relief from migraine attacks. It should be used as directed by your healthcare provider for the best results.

Treatment Of Acute Migraine, Acute Cluster Headache:

  • Adult: 1 Tab Onset Of Acute Attack, Followed By 1 Tab After At Least 2 Hours If Required, To Be Taken Only If Migraine Recurs (patient Not Responding To Initial Dose Should Not Take Second Dose For Same Attack); Maximum 2 Tab Per Day

  • Tab 85 /500mg: Sumatriptan (as Succinate) 85mg And Naproxen Sodium 500mg

Pregnancy

Avoid Unless The Potential Benefit Outweighs The Risk.

Contra Indications

  • Coronary Vasospasm, Ischaemic Heart Disease, Uncontrolled, Moderate And Severe Hypertension, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Previous Cerebrovascular Accident, Previous Myocardial Infarction, Previous Transient Ischaemic Attack, Prinzmetal's Angina, Active Gi Bleeding Or Ulceration Or Haemorrhage (two Or More Distinct Episodes), Severe Heart Failure, Nsiad Induced Allergy, Hepatic And Renal Failure

Precautions

Lactation

  • Withhold Breast-feeding for 12 Hours After Treatment.
