Amodiaquine is a medication primarily indicated for the treatment of uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, a parasitic infection transmitted through mosquito bites. It is used in combination with other antimalarial drugs to enhance its effectiveness and reduce the risk of resistance development.
