Indication Dosage

Aspirin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is commonly used to treat mild to moderate pain, fever, and inflammation. Some of the common indications of aspirin include:

• Pain relief: Aspirin can help alleviate pain caused by conditions such as headaches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, and arthritis.
• Fever reduction: Aspirin can help reduce fever by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the body.
• Anti-inflammatory effects: Aspirin can help reduce inflammation in the body, which can be beneficial in treating conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
• Blood thinning: Aspirin can help prevent blood clots by thinning the blood, which can be useful in preventing conditions such as heart attacks and strokes.

Transient Ischaemic Attack/stroke: 

• Adults: 50-325 Mg Once Daily. 

Acute Ischaemic Stroke: 

• Adult: 300 Mg Once Daily For 14 Days, To Be Initiated 24 Hours After Thrombolysis Or As Soon As Possible. 

Suspected Acute Myocardial Infarction: 

• Adults: 160-162.5 Mg Once Daily As Soon As Suspect Mi. Maintenance: 160-162.5 Mg For 30 Days Post-infarction. 

Prevention Or Recurrent Myocardial Infarction: 

• Adults: 75-325 Mg Once Daily. 

Following Coronary By-pass Surgery: 

• Adult: 75-300 Mg Daily 

Mild To Moderate Pain / Pyrexia: 

• Adults & Children Above 12 Yr Age: 325-1000 Mg Every 4-6 Hr As Needed. Max: 4 Gm/day.
