Indication Dosage
Acefylline is a bronchodilator and Diphenhydramine HCI is an antihistamine. This combination medication is primarily used to treat respiratory conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
The indications of Acefylline + Diphenhydramine HCI include:
Management of bronchospasm: The medication helps to relax the muscles in the airways, making it easier to breathe.
Relief of cough: The medication helps to reduce coughing, especially in patients with respiratory conditions.
Allergic reactions: Diphenhydramine HCI in the combination medication helps to relieve symptoms of allergic reactions such as itching, rash, and hives.
Relief of insomnia: Diphenhydramine HCI has sedative effects and can help improve sleep in some individuals.
Dosage:
the recommended dosage for adults is 1-2 tablets (400mg-800mg of Acefylline and 25mg-50mg of Diphenhydramine HCI) taken orally every 6-8 hours as needed. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 12 tablets.

Contra Indications
- Acefylline + Diphenhydramine HCI is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the components, severe liver or kidney disease, epilepsy or seizure disorders, glaucoma or increased intraocular pressure, history of urinary retention or prostate enlargement, history of alcohol or drug abuse or addiction. Breastfeeding or pregnant women should use the medication with caution and only under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
