Insomnia (short-term Use In Patients Age 55 And Above):
Adult Above 55 Yrs: 2 Mg Once Daily For Up To 13 Weeks, Dose To Be Taken 1-2 Hours Before Bedtime
For Sleep Issues or Jet Lag:
Adult 18 - 55 Yrs: A common starting dose is around 0.5 to 1 milligram, taken 30 minutes to an hour before bedtime. Dosages can be increased gradually, up to 3 to 5 milligrams if necessary.
