Prevention Of Cytomegalovirus Disease During Immuno-suppressive Therapy Following Organ Transplantation:

Adult: 5 Mg/kg Every 12 Hours For 7-14 Days
Treatment Of Life-threatening Or Sight-threatening cytomegalovirus Infections In Immune-compromised Patients Only:
By IV Infusion:
Adult: Initially 5 Mg/kg Every 12 Hours For 14-21 Days, Followed By Maintenance 6 Mg/kg Daily On 5 Days Of The Week, Alternatively 5 Mg/kg Daily Until Adequate Recovery Of Immunity, Maintenance Only For Patients risk of Relapse Of Retinitis, If Retinitis Progresses Initial induction Treatment May Be Repeated

Adults: 1000mg 3 Times Daily Or 500 Mg 6 Times Daily
