Diloxanide Furoate and Metronidazole are commonly prescribed medications used in the treatment of certain parasitic infections in the gastrointestinal tract. Amoebiasis, And Other Systemic Disease Due To Other E. Histolytica, Giardiasis:
- Adults: 2 Tab Or 1 Ds Tab Or 10-20 Ml Thrice Daily For 5 Days.
- Children: 5-12 Yrs: Half To One Tab Or 5-10 Ml Thrice Daily For 5 Days; 1-5 Yrs: 5 Ml Thrice For 5 Days. In Refractory Cases, The Treatment In Adults And Children Can Be Continued For 10 Days.
