Urokinase is a medication used to dissolve blood clots in the body. It's often prescribed when someone has a clot that needs to be broken up to prevent serious health problems like heart attacks or strokes.
Adult: Initially 4400 Units/kg, Over 10 Minutes, In 15ml Sodium Chloride 0.9%, Followed By (by IV infusion) 4400 Mcg/kg/hr For 12 Hrs, Alternatively (by Intra-arterial Injection) Initially 15000 Units/kg, To Be Injected Into Pulmonary Artery, Subsequent Doses Adjusted According To Response; Maximum 3 Doses Per Day
