Potassium chloride and bumetanide are medications used for different purposes. Potassium chloride is primarily prescribed to treat or prevent low levels of potassium in the blood, a condition known as hypokalemia. On the other hand, bumetanide is a diuretic medication used to reduce excess fluid in the body and manage conditions like edema (fluid retention) and hypertension (high blood pressure).
