Dipyridamole is a medication used to prevent blood clots. It's often prescribed to reduce the risk of stroke and other serious cardiovascular problems in people who are at higher risk.
Prophylaxis Of Thrombosis Of Prosthetic Heart Valves:
- Adults: Adjunct To Oral Anticoagulants, 300-600 Mg Daily In Three Or Four Doses Before Meals.
- Children: 5 Mg/kg Body Wt. Daily In Divided Doses.
- By IV Inj: Diagnostic Only, See Literature.
Evaluation Of Coronary Heart Disease:
By IV Inj:
- Adults: 0.14 Mg/kg/min For 4 Min; Max Dose 60 Mg.
Myocardial Imaging-Diagnostic Use Only
- Adult: By IV Inj (consult Product Literature)
