Indication Dosage

Indapamide is a medication primarily prescribed to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It belongs to a class of drugs known as diuretics, which help to reduce excess fluid and salt in the body, thereby lowering blood pressure. Indapamide can also be used in combination with other antihypertensive medications to effectively manage high blood pressure and reduce the risk of related cardiovascular complications.

Essential Hypertension: 

  • Adult: Immediate-Release Tab: 2.5 Mg Daily In The Morning; Modified-Release Tab: 1.5 Mg Daily, Preferably In The Morning 
  • Children: Not Recommended.

Content

  • Tab 1.25mg /2.5mg: Indapamide Hemihydrate 1.25mg /2.5mg.
  • Sr Tab 1.5mg: Indapamide Hemihydrate 1.5mg.

Pregnancy

Use Only When No Safer Alternative Exists For A Serious Problem.

Contra Indications

  • Hypersensitivity To Sulphonamides, Severe Renal Or Hepatic Impairment, Hepatic Encephalopathy, Hypokalaemia.

Lactation

  • Not Recommended.

  • Diuresis (with Doses Above 2.5mg Daily)
  • Palpitation
