Blood Glucose Lowering Drugs, Excluding InsulinIndication Dosage
Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus As Monotherapy Or In Combination With Metformin Or Sulfonylurea, Or Pioglitazone (duel Therapy), And Also In Combination With Both Metformin And A Sulfonylurea (triple Therapy) To Achieve Adequate Glycaemic Control:
- Adults: 5 Mg Once Daily.
Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus In Combination With Insulin (with Or Without Metformin) When Insulin Alone Fails To Provide Adequate Glycaemic Control:
- Adults: 5 Mg Once Daily. The dose Of Concomitant Sulfonylurea Or Insulin May Need To Be Reduced.
- Children: Below 18 Yr, Not Recommended.
