Indication Dosage

Sodium Cromoglycate and Xylometazoline are two active ingredients that can be combined in a nasal spray formulation. The combination targets different aspects of nasal symptoms:

• Sodium Cromoglycate is a mast cell stabilizer that prevents the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators from mast cells. It helps to reduce nasal congestion, itching, and sneezing associated with allergies.
• Xylometazoline is a sympathomimetic agent, specifically an alpha-adrenergic agonist, that acts as a vasoconstrictor. It helps to reduce nasal congestion by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passages, leading to decreased swelling and improved airflow.

The combination of Sodium Cromoglycate and Xylometazoline in a nasal spray formulation is primarily indicated for:

• Allergic rhinitis: The combination can help relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitides, such as nasal congestion, itching, sneezing, and runny nose, caused by allergens like pollen, animal dander, or dust mites.
• Seasonal allergies: This combination can provide temporary relief from nasal symptoms associated with seasonal allergies, such as hay fever.
• Non-allergic rhinitis: The combination may also be useful in managing nasal symptoms in non-allergic rhinitis, where inflammation and nasal congestion are not caused by allergens but by other factors like irritants, infections, or hormonal changes.

Dosage:

Adult & Children: 1 Spray Each Nostril 2-4 Times Daily.
